Division President Don Acquista Retires After a Storied Career

Don Acquista Retirement

After over 40 years in the Real Estate and Community Association Management profession, Don Acquista retired in December 2023.  Don built Advanced Realty Management to serve the local communities in Columbus and, in 2022, selected Sentry Management to acquire his community association business and continue his legacy.  Over the years, Don witnessed many changes in the Columbus area and took pride in ensuring his team was well-informed and equipped to provide a high level of guidance and support for the communities he served.  Don believed that Sentry’s ability to serve his clients would continue that standard.

Don’s retirement celebration brought nearly 50 board members, professional partners, and service providers together to wish him well and thank him for his dedication to the service of Columbus condominium and homeowner associations.   Many of the attendees have worked alongside Don and his team for decades and applauded his integrity, hard work, and kindness.

Over the past 18 months, Don’s team has worked to enhance their services with Sentry’s robust software and support services. With Don’s retirement, Sentry’s two Columbus locations have merged into one under the leadership of Sylvia Bayless, Division President of Columbus.  Don’s team continues to serve the communities with the same degree of professionalism that they have for many years, and joining Sylvia’s team will give us an even deeper level of local support and educational and training opportunities.
