The Sentry Management office of Albuquerque, New Mexico held a Board Seminar on Saturday, October 29 at the Sandia Event Center located at the Sandia Casino. Over 60 Directors of various community associations managed by Sentry from all over the State of New Mexico attended the 3-hour seminar. Presenters included John Patterson, Rodey Law Firm as well as Demetrios Xanthos, SAX Insurance Agency.  Mr. Patterson detailed the many responsibilities of board directors as well as the legal implications of email discussion.  Mr. Xanthos discussed the need for adequate coverages in addition to liability and property insurance coverages and the risk communities put upon themselves by allowing short term rentals such as Airbnb and VRBO.
