The Sentry Atlanta-South office hosted their annual membership meetings last week, with members from over 36 communities with approximately 450 attendees total.
By law, all associations are required to hold an annual meeting for their resident shareholders and unit owners. This meeting fulfilled that requirement for the communities in attendance.
The meetings all started off with a presentation video that gave attendees a basic overview of associations. Packets that were tailored specifically to each community and contained important homeowner information were handed out to attendees as well.
Generally, during annual meetings new budgets are announced, board members are elected, committee reports and items of common interest are discussed.
“We had several local staff members attend the meeting for learning purposes and to show the communities what an honor it is to truly serve them,” Mike Reis, Vice President of Atlanta South Division said.
