The National UTA, Atlanta South Division conference was held in Orlando, FL this year at the Loews Sapphire Falls hotel in Universal Studio.
This unique, Sentry-managed trade Association consists of members that are involved in buying, selling and supporting large semi-trucks.
There were a record number of people in attendance at the event this year, with over 950 Association members in total, that traveled from all across the United States for the event.
Several local Orlando-based Sentry staff members volunteered to work the convention helping register attendees, stuffing gift bags, and directing attendees to the various conference rooms.
“The event this year could not have gone any better. Each year the conference is continuing to grow as the Association itself is growing. This conference provides a great opportunity to network with everyone that is involved in the Association,” Misty Reis, Sentry Management Vice President, Atlanta South Division said.
The conference agenda included several educational sessions, a networking workshop, golf tournament, and awards dinner. Keynote speakers for the event included Major Dan Rooney, Economic Speaker, Donald Broughton.
It was not all work and no play, as attendees had the opportunity to register for several different fun events including deep sea fishing, a 5K walk/run, and a tour of the Kennedy Space Center.
