The staff at the Sentry Atlanta, GA. the office hosts an annual food drive that focuses on collecting a specific type of food—cereal.

This program benefits A Friends House, which is a child care agency and the Henry County Food Pantries by stocking their shelves with boxes of cereal. This program focuses on providing breakfast to children throughout the summer when they are not necessarily able to receive breakfast provided by local schools.

At the last drive, the staff was able to collect a whopping 120 boxes of cereal to donate. One box of cereal can provide up to 10 meals for a child. The staff looks forward to this event every year.

“Working with the local community and giving back helps raise the quality of life for the communities we live, work and play in,” Mike Reis, the Vice President of the Atlanta South Division said.
