A local community manager at the Sentry Management office in Alexandria, VA, Victoria Bloom recently received positive feedback from a local HOA board president.
“The Duke Condominium Association really values the assistance provided by Victoria; consistently she is professional, efficient, pleasant, and helpful,” Duke Condominium Board President said.
Victoria recently saved the community $3,000 by doing her due diligence and scrutinizing an elevator repair contract. By doing this, she also saved the Association from a potential lawsuit.
“Victoria had the sense to carefully read through our contract with a contract bidder and noted that it potentially put us in danger of a lawsuit if we used a technician from a different company than the one that installed it. She then negotiated the cost of the original company quoted for sending one of their technicians and had them agree to a lower rate for sending someone to supervise the repair exercise,” the Board President explained.
Victoria has worked as a community association manager since 2013 when she joined the Sentry Management team. She has previous experience working in commercial real estate brokerage and management of rental properties. She also has a mathematical and legal work background from Ukraine, before moving to the United States in 2007.
