The Sentry Management Boise office donated 45 “birthday bags” to their local Salvation Army this year as a part of their service project.

The Salvation Army in Boise provides birthday kits for children under 18 that include all the ingredients necessary to make a birthday cake. The gift bags contain a disposable cake pan, cake mix, frosting, and candles.

Community Manager, Christian B. explains why he organized this event. “These kits are given to families who otherwise could not afford to provide a cake for their child’s birthday. This is a great way to give back to the community”.

Community Association Managers from the office donated the items and assembled the kits before taking them to the Salvation Army.

As a part of the birthday program, the Salvation Army also provides age-related gifts along with the birthday cake bags.
