The Sentry Management office in Crofton, Maryland, has recently started a new weekly hands-on development program for its team members called “Field Trip Fridays.” Crofton team members take to the field on certain Fridays, visiting various local community vendors to gain insight into each vendor’s unique services. These trips help the Crofton team better understand how to collaborate with potential vendors and communicate these vendor services to local boards. Here, team members can participate in educational experiences, including interactive demonstrations, listen in or participate in informative live Q&As, and build connections with fellow industry professionals in the area.

Most recently, the Crofton team visited the office of BYLT, a local vendor specializing in disaster restoration, to gain education experience and expert insight into the water, mold, smoke, storm, and bio-damage restoration services provided to local communities. During their visit to BYLT headquarters, the Sentry team received a comprehensive presentation on BYLT’s disaster mitigation services and 24/7 emergency response capabilities and a live interactive demonstration on mold identification and clean-up procedures.
