Sentry Management Des Moines raised funds for the Arthritis Foundation’s Annual Jingle Bell Run in their own unique way by hosting a Vendor Give Back Night! In lieu of participating in the typical 5K run or walk, the Des Moines office hosted this networking event for numerous local vendors and board members to come together to raise funds and awareness for a great cause. In addition to networking opportunities, vendors donated numerous items to the event’s silent auction. Items donated included gift cards, gift baskets, woodwork, statues, and even NFL tickets and a Google Pixel! Fellow vendors and board members bid on these exciting items, totaling $3,160 raised for the Arthritis Foundation!

The Arthritis Foundation hosts local Jingle Bell Run events where participants and sponsors can dress up festively to walk or run a course supporting its cause. 100% of the funds these events raise go directly to the foundation and its efforts to support research, development, and awareness for a cure.

This is the sixth consecutive year Sentry Management has participated in the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run nationally, raising over $69,600 companywide in 2024 alone and over $256,000 to date. The event is part of Sentry’s commitment to giving back to its communities through the company-wide charitable program, Giving Smiles. Giving Smiles identifies deserving residents impacted by tragic events such as fires, floods, or other personal hardships and provides funding and assistance through company-matched and employee donations during the holidays and year-round.
