Sentry staff members at the Tavares office recently held the Royal Harbor’s Annual Health and Wellness Fair event. The event was attended by over 150 residents and HOA Board members from the Royal Harbor community.

Florida Waterman Hospital was well represented and they performed blood pressure, blood work and discussed health age with residents.

Attendees were also provided with information on Alzheimer’s disease, food, and nutrition, physical therapy, lifestyle, and chronic diseases information was also available.

“The benefits of offering a Health & Wellness Fair to the community are endless. We had vendors come based on their alignment and goals that promoted overall health and wellness.  Hosting the Health Fair allowed us to partner with local organizations and businesses to expose our members to resources that could help them,” Katie Ciccotelli, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, Royal Harbor P.O.A. explains.

It was well attended by residents and 25+ vendors and enjoyed by all.  Many residents were very thankful as they were able to get the medical help they needed by finding the appropriate vendor they were looking for. In addition, residents had the opportunity to give blood to One Blood and had many insurance and medical questions answered free of charge.

The vendors that attended included the Alzheimer’s Association, Brookdale Lake Tavares, Certus Senior Living, Clarity Hearing, Cornerstone Hospice, The Florida Department of Human Health, Humana, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and many more! Catering for the event was provided by Emilianna’s Catering.
